Carnicero's - Réservation de table

I have walked past Carnicero's several times during my trips to the St. Lawrence Market. It is primarily a butcher shop but also offers a selection of convenient grab-and-go foods. I recently tried their pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was soft, tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a flavorful BBQ sauce. For added texture, they offer the option of adding coleslaw to the sandwich. Overall, it was a satisfying and guilt-inducing meal that I would definitely recommend.

After spending the morning touring the St. Lawrence Market, I had lunch at this restaurant. An elderly man assisted me and we had a pleasant conversation about the weather, sandwich suggestions, and Texans visiting in the winter. I opted for a classic choice and ordered a massive pulled pork sandwich with just coleslaw on top. I managed to eat about 80% of it, so I felt satisfied. I also had a glass of water. The total cost was $11.91.

On Saturdays, the best time to experience the market fare at St. Lawrence is at Carcinero's. I am a frequent patron and enjoy everything they serve. My top picks are the burritos, turkey legs, and other sandwiches. Recently, I tried their new sugar glazed bacon sandwich which was fantastic. At just 8 dollars, it was a great deal and I absolutely loved it. Carcinero's is a must-visit if you find yourself in the area or at the market.

Lots of fresh cut meats that I use to grill out when I am in the area. However, what they have that merits a review (and I would generally not try and write a review about one item) is the pure awesomeness of a bacon sandwich. Think porchetta, but a little greasier with crispier edges. Have not had anything like it before. Just slapped on a roll and their you go, nothing else needed. No more peameal sandwiches for me. We picked up our lunch at Carnicero's while visiting St. Lawrence Mkt. I couldn't resist a bacon sandwich. They simply slice fresh pork (real Canadian bacon) onto a role. It was tender and juicy and full of pork flavor. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed this take out place, the food is very authentic (we had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the coconut tart). The service is friendly and very helpful, the only issue is finding seating.

My husband and I stumbled over this place and decided to bring some chicken pot pies home. They were delicious! The gentlemen who help us were also very friendly! I recommend you check them!
