Carolina's Méxican Food

They mess up are food pretty often. Not sure if they changed ownership or lost cooks but a few months ago the food changed and just isn?t good anymore. They always forget to put our add ins in the bag or give us the wrong meat type. Can?t tell you how many times I have paid for guac and they don?t put it in the bag! Their beef crispy taco shells are smaller now than they were a few months ago. Definitely the worst location of any. Sucks too because it is right by my house and I would order for my family a few nights a week! Now I just alter my drive home from work and get Adalbertos on Watt ave. That location is one of the best since I was a kid.

The restaurant was generally clean, but had a small odour from the beverage fountain. It was a bit inconspicuous, but I continued with my order. The restaurant looked empty and half closed, although I don't think it was the case. The food I received was a generous amount. Unfortunately, however, the taste was somewhat too salty and the ingredients did not taste off fresh. At one point, I was kind of worried that I would get sick, but grateful that never materializes. A positive farewell was that the staff was friendly and the food was quickly prepared. Overall, the food was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way here.

As someone who is very special about their Mexican food, I just give it to you if you like large portions of food that taste, this is for you. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, isn't it? Eat taste fine, but salsa is super watery, so only 3 stars.

We ordered a beef chimichanga plate and a combo burrito and taco plate. The food here was always very delicious and fresh.

Always wonderful food, great staff. I miss the big package around plant that used to be there!
