Carrabba's Italian Grill Pt. Charlotte

My wife and I visited Carrabba's Italian Grill last Friday at 1811 Tamiami Trl, Port Charlotte, located in the Village Marketplace near Books-a-Million. The restaurant was not very crowded when we arrived, with spacious parking and easy access. We were quickly seated and our server, Tia, took our drink order and provided us with menus. We opted for the Classic Combination as an appetizer, followed by my wife ordering The Caesar Salad with grilled chicken and me choosing a side Italian salad. Normally great food, we order thru door dash. Tonight the chef forgot to cook the bow tie pasta enough for our meal of fettuccini weesie.. felt like eating chalky pasta , not soft at all . Recommendation please don't rush the pasta.. you were doing great until tonight! Stay focused!

This is the best Carrabbas location. The food is extremely good. I enjoyed their chicken soup and the steak, which was seasoned and cooked to perfection.

A better location than most. This is one that feels like a fine restaurant. The food, drinks, ambience and service are all better than expected.

Spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar salad with warm bread and dipping oil was very good. Service was good too!
