Our stay at Carriage House Bed and Breakfast was absolutely delightful from start to finish. Jess, the owner, was incredibly sweet and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The entire staff mirrored her warmth and hospitality, ensuring our every need was met throughout our stay. Initially, Mr. BW took a little time to warm up to us, but by the end of our visit, he was also very kind and accommodating. Now, about the food—oh my goodness! Jess is an incredible cook. We came to our family reunion in the next town over. My wife being very particular about her stays and food booked our weekend stay here at the Carriage House. I’m not going to bore you with the usual reviews because they don’t even come close to describing our experience. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Peaceful, clean and serene is what we found. The food was absolutely delicious. And the presentation gave 5 star fine dining vibes, but it was truly down home deliciousness! This is where we will be staying from here on out! If you are looking for delicious meals and heartfelt hospitality then look no further. I guarantee that you will fall in love with this place. What an awesome experience! I rated the rooms four stars only because we were told there were 2 queen beds and they were doubles. But they were comfortable. Rooms were clean and bath was fully stocked. Now, let’s talk about the dinner! Jessie and her staff are amazing! The food was absolutely delicious! Better than a lot of big-city restaurants! The breakfasts are wonderful, as well. The wrap-around porch is so comfortable, the staff friendly and attentive. Don’t stay any place else! This is a true gem! I was on a girls trip. My husband now wants to plan a trip!

I believe this is the best kept secret in Texas. The entire place was very clean and very quaint. The staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced and made me want to come back there. But the food was absolutely exquisite and better than any food I’ve had in the Dallas area in a very long time. It was absolutely five star, and they pay such attention to detail and service. I stayed there in August last year and this year. Very clean and quiet. The staff there is very courteous and professional. Breakfast and other amenities are great. Good value for the dollar. Looking forward to staying there in August again next year.

Extremely pleasant place to stay. A fire pit with s'mores fixins and complimentary glass of wine. Bed was comfortable, temp was adjustable and comfortable. The people, both the staff and other guests, were awesome.
