During lunch time it?s busy, cold, and full of primarily older folks who are hard of hearing and very loud. No disrespect to them, just difficult to have a nice lunch with such a cacophony in the background. I ordered a chicken salad plate that had anunfortunate flavor, potato salad had an old school mediocre edge to it, and the ?pasta salad? included maybe 9 pieces ofoversaturated fusilli. Forgot to take a photo of my plate but I think the lean portion size was conjured with senior citizensin mind. I give this establishment 3 stars because on other occasions I?ve ordered 2 decent sandwiches: the Reuben and theRebecca. Although, it would be nice if the side dish was larger and not served on...
Reuben and the Rachel sandwiches were fantastic. Reuben I went half pastrami have corned beef .... both very good. My Preference was the corned beef which they make on sight. The Rachel was really something. Impressive subtle flavors.... Potato salad was ok not my favorite style/recipe.... So subjective with potato salad. Be warned...... They don't put Russian dressing on so of you are a fan request.... Same with other sandwiches if you like mayo or spice brown let the know when you order. Sign of a good sandwich we didn't need Russian for either the Rachel or Reuben to be a good sandwich. Friendly but very busy as any good restaurant/deli will be at lunch.
This is an old school deli is the absolute best way possible. Simple menu and it’s homemade and delicious. Best corned beef sandwich in DFW and rivals what you’d find in NYC. Family owned and caring staff ensures a great meal. The decor hasn’t changed in 50 years but neither has the quality of the food. Don’t let the non descript surroundings keep you from this institution.
This is my go to place for food I can't find anywhere else! Lox and cream cheese on bagel, matzoh ball soup, Rueben sandwiches the size of a football...consistently great deli food. No credit csrds are accepted so be forewarned. But the PIES...get there early before they sell out! Nice but small selection of wine and beers..

A truly legitimate Jewish deli, everything is fresh, homemade, and delicious. The specialty sandwiches are not something you will find anywhere else and are worth trying. The classic Reuben has great flavor if not a little skimpy on the amount of meat. The homemade pies are a must-try.
Except for the fact that you need CASH ONLY for the food, the place is phenomenal. Had the Rachel and absolutely refused to give up even a bite. Well with the trip to the ATM machine.
Best pastrami on rye sandwich I've had in my entire life! I almost shed tears of joy while eating it. That sandwich, combined with a cup of matzo ball soup really hit my soul.
A jem of Fort Worth. Get the Rebecca every time and service is fantastic. When your done with lunch bring a sandwich back to your boss it will go well with you!
