After doing some banking, I walked a few doors down to get a small carvel soft serve sundae. $3.90) It was good but not great- because the temperature of the ?ice cream? seemed like it was not as cold as it should?ve been. The swirl should have been stiff but it was more like a relaxed blob. The chocolate sprinkles were nice and soft fresh) and it was all very delicious. The owner was very sweet too! It?s a little place that will hopefully stick around for our needs, but
We purchased a $36 cake from this Carvel, and it was mostly chocolate with minimal frosting decoration—quite unlike their usual presentation. There was just a small bit of blue frosting on top. It felt as though someone had forgotten to complete the cake before freezing it for sale. We were very disappointed and won't be buying another cake from here in the future.
Tonight I went to carvel to get a sundaes for people. An employee named kate saw I had a list and took the initiative to ask if she wanted me to give her the list. I did and she fulfilled my order successfully. I have not had such good service like that in a long time. Pick this carvel over all others.
Terrible experience! The website claims they open at 11 AM, but when I arrived at the store, there was a sign stating they actually open at 12. I waited, but no one showed up. They definitely need to update their information about store hours to avoid confusing customers! Réservez une table maintenant
