Went into Carvin Up tonight and ordered a small mixed roast meal. I got the smallest amount of meat ever and was told it was weighed at 80g of meat. I disputed this and was assured it was 80g, when ordering veg I was asked what I would like, I asked for some roast potatoes and a few chips, the chips were plentiful and a single potato.I gave them my meal back, didn’t want a refund, I have been a customer of this place since it’s inception as I’ve lived in Albury/ Wodonga all my life and have a massive family and friend base here. They will hear of my last ever visit to this eatery as I will never return. I vote with my feet! Catch ya Carvin it up! Word of mouth is a powerful thing.
My husband and I recently enjoyed a scrumptious roast beef dinner at Carve'n It Up in Albury. The portions of meat, vegetables, and gravy were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were not too crunchy. The gravy was rich and flavorful. The staff were friendly and engaging. I only wish that Albury was closer to Sydney so I could dine here more often.
I ordered a large meal at this restaurant and was disappointed by the pathetic portion size. I had to go to McDonald's afterwards to fill up! I definitely won't be returning as the place was dirty and the staff were rude. I should have just spent my $16 at a local eatery instead. It's disappointing considering how much food they used to give when they first opened.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. While traveling with my family, we were in search of a place for dinner. Despite appearing a bit worn down, the restaurant was bustling with customers. The food was exceptional, with generous portion sizes that even my kids couldn't finish. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
