What a delightful discovery in Berkley! This no-frills taco spot serves up simple yet fantastic food. The chicken, steak, and pork tacos were all fantastic in their own right. They offer excellent fresh salsas and wonderful margaritas. We just returned from a week in Cabo, and the only thing Casa Amado lacks is an ocean view—though the dining area is quite pleasant. and blends beautifully with the pork tacos. The chicken taco comes with this creamy cilantro cheese topping that’s absolutely heavenly and melts in your mouth! Next time: I’m going to try the mushroom tacos and a chicken quesadilla! Don’t forget to order a home made lime-ade bet tastes like a freshly squeezed Lime Agua Fresca !! ! Que sabroso !
I absolutely loved the food; it was well-prepared and packed with flavor! This has become my new favorite Mexican restaurant! The tacos included a unique vegetarian option that was incredibly delicious. It was definitely worth the trip from Lansing!
The tacos are absolutely amazing! They also offer vegetarian options. While the downstairs area may not look like much, there’s a lovely seating area upstairs. As for the vegetarian choices, the mushroom tacos are especially tasty! Réservez une table maintenant

Had the three tacos pork, beef, and chicken. They were all great. And the queso was very nice too. Going to watch for the chili relleno to be back too. Will be going back soon.
The food really surprised me! Way better than any of the local places (condados, mezcal, etc). Real authentic tortilla chips meat. Will be back! don't change!
