Casa Bianchi - Réservation de table

Casa Bianchi is set in beautiful gardens, with a lovely outlook, whilst listening the sound of the waterfalls. I have previously visited this place for coffee only, which they do well. My most recent visit was a lunch time on Friday with my 2 daughters, in which we all chose various choice of meals from the breakfast menu. I was very disappointed with my breakfast, the Pumpkin Pesto, which very over cooked and soggy pumpkin, instead of the expected roasted pumpkin. The basil pesto was very over powering. The cake display looked very inviting with a varied choice. I would definitely opt for coffee and cake instead on my next visit and skip the menu.

We experienced a truly superb restaurant in Casa Bianchi. Despite being situated on a main road, you walk into a quite garden atmosphere, secluded behind a wealth of greenery and featuring two large water fountains, with tables, chairs and benches scattered around them. This is only the scene setter; the food is wonderful and well-priced. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, has no phone number, so you can’t book and only accepts cash. In this day and age, a successful local restaurant operating without phones and credit card facilities needs something else to survive: Good food and Good atmosphere in abundance.

Saturday morning brunch...ordered chicken and salad...over cooked and tough chicken..boring salad...bitter lettuce and cucumber...that is not a salad people...very expensive...such a shame as the venue is lovely. I told the wait staff I was extremely disappointed and the reason...she didn't tell the kitchen...I then told the order staff...no offer of compensation...poor public promotion...don't go folks...so many other cafes in the area

This place, wowee! Fresh juices, coffee, fresh fresh ingredients! The food is beautiful. Well presented, large portions, and decently priced. This place is really quite divine. It's as if you're in Bali. Beautiful gardens, ponds with Koi, leafy canopy overhead, pretty red Japanese style umbrellas and seating throughout the garden area. Food is reasonable but the setting the highlight.

The little ones and I come here all the time - the setting is a cool respite in the heat with a calming 'you-don't-feel-like-you're-in-the-city'
