Casa de Colombia is a favorite of me, especially when it happens a Colombian fútbol game. That was not the case that this trip for lunch, which means it is not so loud or busy. I enjoy the aromas from South America. I must start with the Tequeños Venezuelan cheese sticks. The dough is great! In addition, a maracuya (Barmobst) had juice. A lot of juice selection. I went and ordered a few things going around here to get sweet curtains, an empanada and arepa and sopa de ajiaco. The empanada too long (and should have been composed); I think they forgot. 4 stars because the service was not the best, unfortunately.

We flew in to Austin and were on our way to Waco. We stopped at Casa Colombia for dinner after a day of traveling. The staff were all so inviting, our server was amazing and so kind. There was a DJ playing music and the food was AMAZING! The overall experience was great, the food was colorful and so flavorful. We tried a sampler as an appetizer, I had the Tamale and it was so good. My wife had the stuffed chicken and we couldn?t get over how fresh everything was. I would highly recommend this as a place to visit.

Very tasty for Colombian food! I ordered the Bandeja Paisa Típica since that was described as “typical Colombian plate from the mountains” and I got a HUGE plate of food. Empeñadas are also a great appetizer (I got beef but they have chicken too) and only $3.50. There’s plenty of awards behind the register and I heard a lot of Colombians speaking Spanish while dining, so I figured it was going ti be legit…and it was!Parking: Cramped lot, but people are coming and going.

You should tell you that your order takes 40 minutes, not after your order. Table that came after us first got their food and was a larger group. We ate to different times, which led us to take pieces from their records. When the rest of the food came out, it was cold. There was more fat than real steak. Steak was also made medium instead of good. Food was nothing special. Total was over $100. Definitely not worth it. The waiter was nice.
