Casa De Montecristo Whippany

Been going there for 25 years, made a reservation for the usual high-windowed dining room and they told us (party of 3) to sit in a far away no window dining area, so the main dining area wouldn't be too crowded, and a waitress could serve the far away dining room insuring her share of tips. The manager was terse and not friendly and doesn't know how to manage staffing. We wound up moving to the bar which was fine. Our pizza came cold... service was poor...they made a good drinks. Service has really deteriorated under this newest manager.

Making a reservation was easy. The follow up reminders were very helpful. The staff was awesome. The selection of cigars is amazing. My coworker was never there before and was amazed with the layout. Many of my coworkers frequent JR cigar. The food was good. We are already planning our next trip.

Love coming here, I am a regular customer. The food is not bad at all for the facilty, nothing fancy. Great bar and choices. The wait staff is always courteous and usually even remember your name and what you drink.

Michael and his staff at the restaurant inside Casa de MonteCristo Whippany is top-notch! I have never had a problem with anything there.

JR keeps improving their lounge area. Always a great time with good food and drinks. Recommended
