one of the best hidden gems I have experienced in portugal in 10 years to come here. I only have two main requirements for a restaurant to enjoy: the food quality the staff quality (service can make a place or break even if the food is good and also the prices) the above mentioned points have been met with ease. that was ingenious, they do petiscos (tapas in portugal) or full teller (we went there two nights to try both) the staff was simply excellent and very helpful and patient. the prices do not reflect the above mentioned, this place is so good that I was shocked when we got the final bill. such good value for money, and they will find it hard to find better in portugal from my experienc...

Off the beaten path, in this village you can find this very local and friendly restaurant. We got a mix petiscos with several different dishes. The owner was very friendly and the food delicious. There is no menu and he brought us food based on his recommendation and choice, which was actually fine for us. What we didn't appreciate was the fact that among those dishes (all of them around 3-4 euro) he included at the end some shrimps which were 4 times more expensive than the rest of the food he gave us so far. In our opinion that should have been asked before. However the experience was positive, the environment simply lovely and the sangria tasty and refreshing!

Tudo é excelente, Eu gosto de comer petiscos e um vinho como deve ser, este é o sítio ideal para isso. Os preços são injustamente baixos para a comida tradicional caseira que aqui servem. Os ovos com farinheira são um must para mim, as ameijoas também são uma boa sugestão de entrada. Partilhem tudo, peçam muta coisa diferente e aproveitem o que se de melhor se come no Ribatejo! Resrervem porque está sempre cheio.

we're here on Saturday. the place was full. we were slotted and the personal (owner?) took time to help us, non-Portuguese speaking, with his best English. eating was delicious and we have paid very well (lower price. recommended, and we will definitely return.
