Many meals over many years and this place is a must when in Dusseldorf. Always very busy. Have a sherry for aperitif , some garlic prawns followed by steaks of many kinds. The bread and garlic sauce, tomato purée and butter keeps you going. Nice house Red wine and Grappa for desert. For real local culture after the meal go round the corner to Paul's bar for some Alt beer and snaps. Hope to be back at Casa Galcia soon. Food was ok to good. Don't miss the head on prawns even though at 2.50 euros each they are a bit expensive. Overall the Tapas were good but if you compare them to Amada in Philly or any Jose Andreas restaurant in DC their food is poor. FORGET about comparing them to Pintxos in Northern Spain but in a pinch this place ok if you are worn out on the standard German fare.

The staff was great, really nice, welcoming and helpful.We ordered a paella, it's been quite long but was definitely worth the wait. Moreover we've been offered great appetizers to fill our wait.It was huge and excellent, one of the best paella I ever ate, a real taste of Spain in Germany. I highly recommend it

We have been there the first time this week. The food (we had Tapas) was really good and comparable in quality to what we got on our last trip to Spain. Get the Datteln im Speckmantel my favorite.
