This place is a gem. It's a gorgeous series of rooms, very pretty and intimate. The staff squeezed us in without a reservation (just let us know when we needed to be done by). The waitress was so nice and helped us figure out what to order. The food was spectacular! The portions were perfect for sharing (we've had meals that were just way too big for us to finish and that feels so wasteful). It's a combination of traditional Spanish dishes with a modern twist. And many dishes come with vegetables, which our stomachs were grateful for. We had a really lovely time excellent food in an unpretentious space with great service. Wish we had time to go back before we go home!
The day of our first time visit on 9/14/22 at lunch time Casa Macereno was packed. The host asked us to sit at the bar and they would seat us shortly. You can see all the love that went into creating this space. We had tequila at the bar @7€. We were seated very quickly. Ordered the Ensaladilla @12.5€, Pan con tomate y ac @4€ and the Patatas bravas Maca @11.5€. All were excellent! Service is spot on everyone here was friendly! Will be back!
One of my favorite restaurants in Madrid and one of the few I rated with 5 stars. I was countless times in this place and it is always a fantastic experience that continues to add the 5 stars. Eating is simply Spanish traditional. Ingredients are high quality. The staff is super nice. You can get good tapas at the bar, you have a meal in the restaurant room in the back. Book in advance
Es un sitio al que tras su traspaso se le ha tocado lo justo: un lavado de cara y una actualización con mucho criterio y respetando las partes buenas que tenía. La carta es muy correcta y el personal atento y agradable. Muy recomendable.

Cenamos ayer noche mi marido y yo, nos encanto. El trato. Servicio atento y simpatico. Muy profesional. Las croquetas espectaculares! Autentico! Lo recomendamos!
