This place tastes exactly like Mi Ranchito but is twice the price. The meal begins with a glass of water with a wedge of lemon and chips and salsa for the table. The portions are decently large and the ingredients, especially the meats, taste fairly fresh. Everything is mostly $13—20, but can reach up to $40 for the steak dishes. I’m from California and have not been able to find a an equivalent Mexican experience in St Louis until Casa Maya. It’s the closest I’ve found to Californian Mexican food while still keeping true to their STL roots. If you try anything here you have to get the fajitas, but honestly you can’t go wrong. It’s my favorite place with good portions and great prices.
Came here again after their opening and I’d say this place is unfortunately pretty mediocre Tex-Mex with questionable margaritas. The margarita itself can come in a giant mug that taste like pure sugar mix and not much else. The food was okay. We left not sure if we’d ever come back. Maybe we’ll try again someday.
This was not enjoyable. The tables were not cleaned when we walked in, the restrooms were filthy and the service was below average. They did not have soda water or grapefruit juice for a drink request and the food was decent AT BEST.

Salsa is yummy, I tried the beef taco and tamale with beans and rice. The taco is forgettable, the tamale was good, the beans and rice were very bland. Nice servers, but the food was just average at best:
Wonderful food, especially the fajitas! My husband and I loved our meal! Great service in a warm, casual atmosphere.
Best Taco Salad…its delicious its our second time coming to St Louis just for the Taco Salad…excellent Mexican Food…
I come here almost every Tuesday for their $1 taco deal. The tacos are STUFFED with delicious meat.
