We have eaten here before but this time went in the evening and had the set menu it was amazing value and the food was all homemade and fresh. We got 4 generous sized starters to share (croquettes, sliced sausages, whitebait and salmon mousse) with bread. For mains you could choose veal steak with chips or hake in marinara sauce, both were very good. Profiteroles and cheese cake were both very nice desserts and there wee others to choose from. You also got beer or wine included and price was 19 euros each. Staff do not speak much English but are very friendly.
Well !! Just had lunch. Yes very quiet as out of season and on a Tuesday. But ... What a warm welcome, really good food, with wine and bread, four courses for €12. Very clean resturant and facilities. Yes it is on a side street, but well worth the find and only 30 seconds from the main st and parking market area. We were the only non Spanish there but no issues as the owner does his best to accomadate.. Got to repeat well worth the vist to a quaint real Spanish establishment. Will be back !!!
Menú del día. Comimos al mediodía. Bastante bueno, platos sencillos, bien cocinados y con sus correspondientes guarniciones. Constaba de entrantes( a elegir entre 4 opciones) primer plato, segundo plato y postre, también, creo recordar, entre 4 opciones. Incluye bebida. Buena y profesional atención.
I know this house since 2000 and it's already a 10. so they have always continued and so they continue: professionalism, cleanliness, public attention, food quality, moderate prices, etc. always a 10 . ah !, and by evil thinking, I am not family or interested party.

menu very good and good quantities, details like garlic bread oil while they bring the drinks, is appreciated, salad, paella, boquerones, etc, treatment, speed and perfect attention, long ago we have not come and we have gotten much, we will repeat.
This place is a little gem. Drove from Oropesa to eat here and it was well worth it. The food is typical Spanish home cooking like mamma would have made. 4 courses plus wine and bread for 12 euros 50. The white bean stew is sublime.
