Casa Velha - Réservation de table

My sister has been to this restaurant several times and she has been wanting to take me there for ages. We've finally did it! And it was lovely. Great atmosphere (thank goodness the TV was switched off. Many Portuguese restaurants like to have the TV...on, probably showing some football game). These guys had some nice music on the background instead. Staff were very friendly and polite. The food was glorious. Good portions for a tapas style meal. My only comment would be to include more vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu. Restaurant was conscious of health safety in this Covid crisis. The service was good, waiters are friendly and helpful. However, the food itself was a bit of a disappointment. I went in for dinner, and had the pork lagartos and the shrimp risotto. The meat was very tough, lacked flavour and was served with packed chips and a very small portion of salad. The risotto was better, but not by much. The restaurant 's decoration is beautiful and the atmosphere is nice and quiet, but until the food quality improves I will not be returning.

Sencillamente exquisito. Nos encanto a mi marido y ami, lad porciones gigantescas para lo que acostumbramos a comer, nos sirvió hasta el siguiente día. Degustamos dos platos muy ricos en sabores. Especial para aquellos que les gusta el pescado, hasta pollo se puede disfrutar. El postre me gusto … no era tan dulce. Buen vino, servicio y calidad excelente. Los precios según el financiero de la casa están muy bien.
