"We went to Casabel as it was just down the road from our airbnb, and we absolutely fell in love with it. Off the beaten track, so wasn’t very touristy at all Friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere and the outdoor seating was gorgeous. Food was really good, especially recommend the Paella! The place was so great that we went back 2 nights later! Would definitely recommend!"

I went with my boyfriend, we were visiting the island and decided to celebrate his birthday at Casabel as we saw some great reviews. Unfortunately we were totally disappointed. The napkins were moist, the dinning table cover had stains The chicken croquettes were over cooked and burnt, inside they were too dense and not what we can in spain croquettes. The second dish we ordered was the couchettes, they forgot to mention this included cheese and my boyfriend is intolerant. Lastly we ordered pinchos of chicken and meat, completely over cooked, chewy and lacked flavor. We were charged around €16 for a bottle of red wine that was already open and to end the meal we ordered a Barraquito, typical cañarían drink, however it didn’t have one of its main components (licor 43). So disappointed specially as we had a high expectation and were celebrating at important date
We went for dinner to this fantastic venue. It is like being having dinner in nature, enjoying the views and the fantastic outdoor area. Food wise, I didn't have the chance to enjoy some of meat dishes on the bbq, which seem to be a good choice. I tried some small fish, grilled cod fish and papas arrugadas. All of them good but I wouldn't call them exceptional. Service is fantastic, you get your waiter in a matter of seconds at your fingertips by clicking a button in a device available on the table. Loved the gadget and the idea and certainly improve service and customer satisfaction. All in all, good value for money.
My partner I loved it so much we went to dinner twice during our holiday, it was a close restaurant to where we were staying. So decided to give it a go. We absolutely loved the experience and dinner, the people were so lovely and welcoming, they had a brilliant varied collection of dishes. We had the amazing meat paella one evening and the t-bone steak the second, it was incredible! The place had more local people from the island and the interior design was really authentic, the seating outside was very beautiful too. I would love to go again in future!!
We stayed at an Airbnb close by. Not even 5 min. driving. So we went to this restaurant 3 evenings. A beautiful location, with lots of green, tables not close to each other. Outside has a better ambiance than inside. Service is fast en kind. The food is good. They surprised us 2 times with a home made dessert. Even when we didn't want it, we tried and loved it. A great restaurant out of town and on a quiet location between the mountains.
