Cassandra's At Island Hills

We went there on a Friday night, waited to be seated outside.. Hostess mentioned it would be about 10 minutes before getting served. Outside was very nice and there was music.. We saw the waiter but he was literally running around.. looked like there was 2 servers for the entire place. 25 minutes went by, no sever and no drinks or food.. still saw the server running around.. decided if we couldn't get even a drink in 25 minutes, we better leave and find a place where we could actually get ssrved

Now known as Casandras. Went last night and were pleasantly surprised. Last year our meals were mediocre at best. Things have changed this year with new management. My wife had fish and chips and I had fried oysters. Both were very good, but we must make special note of the salads and French fries. The Salas's were exceptionally fresh greens and the fries were fantastic, hot, and very crisp. The best fries we have had in our immediate area.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Cassandras at it was amazing. Cassandra met with us about a month before hand and was so helpful with all of the planning and provided us an amazing menu for the night of. We typically do not leave reviews but wanted to leave one for Cassandra. The restaurant itself was lovely and the outdoor patio was also very nice. Live music till 10 pm was also wonderful. Thank you!

Air conditioner was out on a 90+ degree day. Lots of tables held for reservations and heard servers complaining the reservations were no shows but the manager wouldn't release them for walk-ins. No wine list available. Food was ok but very expensive for what it was. Hope all of this is a bump in the road that can be worked out.

I really enjoy going to Cassandra's at Island Hills. I have eaten there for lunch and for dinner. it is all very good. They have a full bar with a nice beer selection. I also enjoy being there to enjoy their entertainment on the patio Thursday thru Sunday. it is always entertaining

Well we thought we'd give it a try last night. Pulled up on a Friday night at 6:15 and it was closed. Accosting the website they were suppose to be open till 9pm.

Awful overpriced food. Seriously, a drunk home cook could put together a meal better than what's served here.
