I visited Castaways for the air and water show, and it was the perfect spot for viewing. The air show was incredible! We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there, and the food was delicious and abundant. It was served buffet-style, and everything was nice and hot. The drinks were also tasty; I can't recall the name, but the frozen drink made with Don Julio was fantastic. We had two servers, Mitch and Ashleigh, who were both wonderful—very attentive and friendly. I hope to go back again next year!
I visited yesterday and had an amazing experience! Our waiter, Tommy, was fantastic and incredibly friendly. My friend and I had a rough time at the Vollywood party, so we decided to come to Castaways to relax, and it turned out to be just what we needed. The food and drinks were both excellent, and I particularly enjoyed being able to watch the sunset over the lake from our table while we ate. It's a great place with wonderful people! I loved it!
I love Castaways!! They have strong drinks that never disappoint and some basic but really delicious food items. The Mahi sandwich and fish tacos are musts. And of course the Miami Vice a swirl of piña colada and strawberry daiquiri. The service is fast and friendly too.
We wanted to eat there, but menu was VERY LIMITED, so we decided to have only one drink and go somewhere else... Service was good, but was just an OK experience (but of course these are Co-vid times... but the place on Fullerton(and the lake was excellent Réservez une table maintenant
What a great spot! If you want the best summer ambience and friendly staff, you HAVE to try this out. We arrived at 11:15am and there were plenty of tables. It’s perfect for people watching and lake gazing.
We had a fantastic time! The view of the lake was stunning, the service was excellent, the food was exceptional, and the sangria was the best I've ever had! Thank you, Castaways—we'll definitely be back!
Great Pina colada on a very hot day. Wait staff was amazing. Got our food fast! Great sandwich and awesome quacamole burger! A perfect day! We will be back on our next trip to Chicago!

The menu maybe could be enhanced the waiters messed up our tab I was charged twice and at the end I don’t know if my tab was correct.
