The food and wine served in the restaurant of this hotel is of the highest quality. The wine list presented at the table is unusually long and comprehensive and the food on offer is excellent. My only quibble would be that the waiter neither spoke nor understood english, which made the process of ordering etc. rather difficult. Hiowever, the manager of the hotel, who can speak some English, was on hand from time to time.
The various dishes were delicious. The standard is high, with a hint of the early 90es. Service was smiling and forthcoming, But we were a little disappointed with the selection of wines (However, I’m a wine snob and others may find the wine to be fine). The chairs felt a bit tired in the upholstery and I, for one, could feel the frame of my chair digging into my buttocks.
Nous avons pris un bon repas ici, avec seulement 2 petits reproches. 1) Nous n'avions pas le droit de manger dehors sur la très jolie terrasse, ce qui était dommage car il faisait très beau et le terrain était très joli. 2) Le menu n'a pas changé depuis 3 ans que nous venons ici et aurait besoin d'être modifié !
Le restaurant est en bas, donc un peu sombre et une mauvaise réception téléphonique. Le menu 5 étoiles, c'est bien, mais j'ai mangé deux jours de suite et plus de la moitié des ingrédients sont réutilisés de la veille. Aussi cher pour ce que c'est. Le personnel était très sympathique.
