Castello - Ristorante Pizzeria Staufen

Run into the Castello as we were looking for a place to eat Pizza close by. As the other place in Staufen had horrible reviews we naturally came here. The interior is simply put "typical German" as there is nothing special here. This place could serve Mexican, German, Spanish, Greek, whatever food and you wouldn't see a difference upon walking in. So don't be too surprised.Service was really nice. The Italian waiter made an effort to make us feel welcome. Nice touch. Now the food/pizza would have been very nice, if they simply wouldn't do it on a pastry sheet (my guess) as the pizza was kinda wet inside and the dough not well done.The taste however was very good and therefore I would say tha...

Eine Pizza Parma stelle ich mir wie folgt vor: krosser Boden, aromatische Tomatensauce, Mozzarella, Parmaschinken, Rucola, Parmesan. Wobei die letzten drei Zutaten erst NACH der Verweildauer im Ofen auf die Pizza kommen sollten.Bei "Vista al Castello" in Staufen wird die Pizza leider nicht auf Stein gebacken. Dadurch ist der Boden schon mal recht langweilig und leicht matschig. Der Parmaschinken (aus der Billig-Packung von Aldi - der Optik nach zu urteilen...?!) wird leider vor dem Backen auf den Teig gelegt. An Rucola und Parmesan kann man zum Glück nicht all zu viel falsch machen.Unterm Strich eine miserable Pizza, die schwer im Magen liegt und mich den kommenden Tag auch noch begleitet ha...

Obwohl ich mich sehr auf den Besuch im Castello gefreut habe, war das Erlebnis bestenfalls nur Durchnitt. Das Brot aus Pizzateig war kalt, die Salatsauce wässerig und die Pizza in einem Blech gebacken, so dass der Rand zwar knusprig, aber der Boden noch nicht ganz durch war. Alles war irgendwie nicht gesalzen/abgeschmeckt. Gut war auf jeden Fall die frischen Zutaten auf der Piazza. Alles in allem ein eine durchnittlichea Erlebnis. Einzig der Preia war recht günstig.

Wir waren am Sonntag Abend zu viert und hatten sowohl Pizza als auch Pasta. Die Karte bot reichlich Auswahl, die Bedienung war aufmerksam und flott. Sowohl die Beilagensalate als auch die Hauptgerichte waren sehr gut und kamen ruck-zuck aus der Küche. Einziges Mango: längere Wartezeit beim Bezahlen, da die Pizzeria mittlerweile rapppelvoll war. Sono stato con la mia compagna e le mie tre figlie in questo ristorantino italiano nella breve vacanza fatta ad ottobre...i piatti sono buoni anche per gli italiani e il titolare e i camerieri sono tutti gentili e disponibili...non ultimo..prezzi modici! Consigliato

Was aus der Küche kommt ist sehr in Ordnung und wird auch entsprechend freundlich serviert. Sehr schöne Terrasse und auch schön und nicht kitschig eingeräumtes Lokal. Als regelmäßiger Gast wird man erkannt und es kommt schon zu einem Wohlgefühl als Gast.

Mit unseren Eltern haben wir mal wieder einen wunderschönen Abend bei Giovanni verbracht. Es gab Spaghetti Mare e Monti, Pizza Bella Vista, Vitello Tonnato und Rigatoni al forno. Es war lecker, preiswert und Giovanni ein guter Gastgeber.

Super good Italian restaurant outside of the normal pedestrian walkways. The staff was very friendly and tried hard in English to satisfy our hunger! The rigatoni al for no was excellent! Very good prices. Very yummy and satisfying! Réservez une table maintenant

The best ever Saltimbocca! Very nice place, excellent food and so friendly service. Highly recommend! The best in Staufen!
