Tl;dr version: subpar chicken, good fries, expensive halal food Came here witha friend wanting to try this location out, seeing as it had replaced another fries chicken place that went belly up. We collectively ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, 3 piece combo, and 6 buffalo wings. The spicy chicken sandwich was very disappointing. The patty was a meat slurry patty instead of a whole piece of chicken breast. The bread was toasted, but fell apart while I was eating the sandwich. And lastly, the sauce was tangy and not spicy at all. I feel bad for saying this, but I honestly think the mcdonalds chicken sandwich is better. However, during my subsequent visits, I ordered the same spicy crispy chicken sandwich and fries, but I was disappointed to find that the quality had dropped significantly. The chicken sandwich I received was made with frozen patties, the kind you’d find in grocery store freezers, and it just wasn’t good. The fries also tasted as if they had been cooked in old oil.
I ordered fried chicken for my kids, which was just okay, but the customer service was another letdown. Each time I went in, I felt completely ignored, sometimes waiting as long as 20 minutes without even being acknowledged, even when the restaurant was empty. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return.
Worse service ever. I usually come here all the time after works. Today i came as usual and ask for 5 pieces chicken. And i usually only get the dark meats. The rude guy give me white meat instead. I was like. Wtf? He cant tell the different between dark and white. When i came back to change. He said no can't do. I mention i know the boss that always give me dark meat. He said he doesn't care. This is gonna be the last time I'm goin to this place. Hopefully the boss read this review and teach the employee how to treat the customer. I'm in the restaurant business too. So i know things that I'm talking about.
The food here is decent, but I had an issue with my drink. I ordered a 20oz Coke, and when it arrived, it was already opened and appeared to be partially consumed, as if someone had taken a sip from it. I was hesitant to drink it because I couldn't trust it. You could clearly see how much was missing from a full bottle. Even more concerning, it didn't taste like Coca-Cola at all, which makes me wonder if they're filling the bottles with a cheaper alternative.

Castle Chicken is located at the corner of Broadway and Queens Blvd. in Elmhurst. It shares the same location as Shah's Express, allowing you to order from either restaurant's menu since there is only one cashier.
Food is always good ! But today my cheese fries didn apos;t have much cheese or fries. It apos;s not normally like that, ordered plenty of times.
they are still offering the 10 pieces of fried chicken for $10.99 and the $7.99 rice platter with lamb or chicken. reasonable prices.
