My friends and I came in last Sunday for a roast and the host was able to find us a table quickly which was greatly appreciated. The menu was reasonably priced and the food was outstanding and exactly what was needed after going to markets all morning. I would’ve rated this 5/5 if it wasn’t for the staff. For an establishment, where the only interaction customers have with staff is when ordering (as you have to go to the bar to order you would think that the staff would have even an ounce of customer relation skills? Not pointing out names but I went to this pub the other day with a friend and got horrible service by one of the girls. Thought she's having a bad day but she treated other customers really well. I'm always really polite with hospitality staff as I work in the same industry. My friend pointed out the only diffrent with me and the other customers is I was ethnic but I want to doubt that was the case and she was just was in a mood. Hopefully it will be better next time I come round. And i don't think £5 for a cup of chips is a fair price.
Good place , a pub disco on my opinion as there is a dj set also. I come here for a couple of drinks and some food with my mates and I have to say : I really enjoy the time here. The food was good, the music make me dance and it offer me the entertainment I need on a Saturday night, and the staff was really cool. The pub, of course, was full of people, at it create a great atmosphere. Suggested for a Saturday night when u don’t know what to do.
Huge shout out to The Cat and Mutton. We had a fab Sunday roast yesterday, the roast was out of this world! The service was also OUTSTANDING. We booked a table but ended up have a few more people then expected join, but the staff were so accommodating and helping find seats and making everyone feel comfortable. Great food, great drinks, great service and great time!
Went specifically for the Wing Wednesday deal that was prominently advertised during the weekend market only to be told with no explanation that the deal was not being honoured. Average food and drinks, very expensive given the quality, but to be expected given the location. Service was hit and miss, generally quite slow.
Always really like this place, good service, good vibe but it’s got _really_ expensive. I had the Korean chicken burger and when it arrived it looked like it has never seen a hot plate and tasted microwaved. Chips were nice but the meal didn’t feel worth £18. Go for a drink but I’d swerve the food.
Really lovely staff and a very delicious Sunday roast and dessert! Thank you also for being so attentive with my puppy! You were all so accommodating <3 Not a complaint but we paid before realising the service charge was taken off the bill and had no actual cash on us to give a better tip.
