Ca´te Brasserie Bury St Edmunds

The brasserie was quite busy but unfortunately after we had placed our orders for starters and desserts we were told that these items were not available. With electronic ordering process being used this should have been advised in advance Spoilt our experience.

I ordered the Bourguignon, which did not seem to be cooked for the full 6 hours as stated. My wife enjoyed her excellent fish dish, although the potato was not Dauphinois as listed on the menu. The starters and desserts were all delicious.

Always a lovely ambiance at the Bury St Edmunds branch. The food is very good but some of the portions I feel are a little small, especially for a hungry man!
