We enjoyed a very nice breakfast today at Cathy's Deli on Lyons Ave in Santa Clarita. We use to go all the time when it was the original Danny's Deli and then Cathy's Deli. Guess we have been busy doing other things and haven't made our way there in a while. Now the new owner Eric and his team have made Cathy's Breakfast Cafe into a homemade wonderland of all kinds of delicious dishes. If you like Eggs Benedict like I do they have several choices of their Benny's. Their breakfast potatoes, sausage links and toast with homemade jam complimented any egg choice. After reading positive reviews about the breakfast food, we decided to give it a try. The eggs, bacon, home-style potatoes, pancakes, and French toast were all delicious. My husband ordered a bowl of matzo ball soup which was just okay. The vanilla bean milkshakes the kids ordered were fantastic. The 4 jam sampler with toast was a big hit and we enjoyed it so much we almost bought three jars. Unfortunately, one flavor was sold out. Despite that, we plan on returning to enjoy the food and purchase more jam.
My son introduced our Family to Cathy’s. He spoke very highly of this small but quaint establishment. We all enjoyed our meals so much we have become regulars. This past weekend we were there Saturday Sunday!!! On Saturday I had chicken Waffles . On Sunday I had Chipotle Benedict( family favorite) I cleaned my plate both times. Others family favorites are Horchata French Toast the Pork belly Benedict. I often take pictures, wish I could post share .
I have always passed by Cathy's Deli without trying it out. However, my realtor, husband, and I finally decided to stop in. I have to say, we tried a variety of dishes and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting from the moment we walked in until the end of our meal. Eric, the owner, is very passionate and the staff made our experience memorable. We will definitely be returning!

First time here. The owner Eric came by to say hello (very good customer service) it was a bit hot inside and Eric apologized for that. Very yummy homemade jams, got 3 flavors. Food was delicious. We tried their philly steak sandwich, pastrami, Denver omelette and bagel with salmon and poached egg. Our kids loved it. We will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu. New fave spot!
I discovered this restaurant by chance, but it turned out to be a fantastic discovery! The food was exceptional, the staff was highly accommodating, and the breakfast menu was filled with delightful surprises. Eric, thank you for the warm welcome and engaging conversation. Diane, I will absolutely be returning and can't wait to try your crab cakes benedict!
We stopped here for breakfast while we were in Santa Clarita and I am so glad that we did! The duck confit eggs benedict was out of this world. The service was spectacular and if I lived in the area this would be a regular breakfast spot for my family for sure!
Just tried Cathy's for breakfast. It was delicious! Great service, friendly staff. Can't wait to go back! The homemade jams and coffee creamers are amazing! Pumpkin pancakes were super tasty. Had to wait a bit but totally worth it.

I've heard that this place has an amazing breakfast menu for months now and decided to stop in. This place did not disappoint! I had the loco moco bowl and my wife had the corned beef hash place. We will definitely be back!!
