We stopped by for the first time today on our way to the racetrack. The restaurant had just opened for the day and we were really impressed with the delicious, freshly cooked food and generous portion sizes. The prices were excellent value for money and we particularly loved the fish cakes. The lady serving us was very friendly and we will definitely be returning when we are in the area again. Highly recommend!
We ordered three large fish and chips. Two of the cod were nicely battered, but one fish, which I could not identify, was thin like plaice and overcooked. The chips were barely cooked and pale, sticking together like mashed potatoes. We were very disappointed because we were told our order had just been completed as we arrived, so it should not have been soggy.
No wonder why all the reviews are so high. The food exceeded my (already high) expectations. These are definitely THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN THE WORLD. So tasty and amazing and you can sit by the lake and watch the ducks!!! Really friendly staff. Nothing could beat this
some of the best fishing and chips anywhere with friendly service. nice to eat something and sit outside on the benches and picnic table next to the stream on a sunny day and watch the ducks play. it is a perfect pleasure. Réservez une table maintenant
Love this chippy great fresh food always lots given lol to much .lovely people always with a smile and cheerful. Phone orders and excellent times no waiting.we travel 4 miles for this good chippy.i would recommend it.
The fish and chips at this restaurant were a great deal considering the current cost of living. The fish was large and flavorful, and the portion of chips was generous.
