This place was very promising when I first went years ago. I've visited at least once a year. The food is generous and worth every penny, but the service and food quality has fallen. This last visit was horrendous to say the least. I ordered the prime rib and it came out REALLY QUICKLY. Normally, i'm used to waiting at least 20 minutes or so, but it came out in under 10 minutes. I should be happy right? I was. But my prime rib was blue rare to rare. I had to asked for medium rare. I ate my potato and maybe a few bites of my prime rib, but I would say that at least 85% of my prime rib was uneaten (to be clear approximately 5-10% was fat and inedible). Try not to fill yourself with the unlimited, fresh from the oven bread! You MUST save room for the very tender lamb-popsicles or thick slab of prime rib - might be the best I've ever had. The meals come with a heaping serving of vegetables, and my family preferred the double-baked potato over the garlic mashed potatoes. I wouldn't order the chicken again, and I didn't notice the white chocolate or cream cheese in the apple galette. But I would recommend the brussel sprout and bacon appetizer, peach margarita, and the unique blueberry tea for dessert! No complaints about the service or atmoshpere, and reasonably priced.
We had read about this restaurant and when we looked at the address, it was literally across the street from where we were staying. The reviews were good so we decided to try it. We had excellent customer service, excellent. The food was really good with the prime rib being better than the NY strip we ordered. Granted, we had both had steaks as good or better but not significantly. We also enjoyed some delicious dessert. A DEFINITE DO OVER which is our rating scale.
My family and I visited during the stampede and surprisingly there was no wait for a table, which was nice. We all ordered steak, most of us the filet mignon, and they were cooked beautifully with lots of flavour! Paired with a nice wine, the meal was wonderful. Our server Chris (If I remember correctly) was great with lots of personality. Would highly recommend if you're close by and looking for a nice meal.

Very good steak house. We were six people and we had in total four different cuts of Alberta beef. The meat and the side dishes were quite good. The only comments came from the degree of cooking of the meat, where the comments are that in general it is cooked half degree more than what was requested.The service is very good and the restaurant/bar has a large number of local draught beers.
I met three friends for dinner. The waiter gave us good suggestions and the tuna and ribeye steaks were enjoyed by all. All local Alberta beef, but the tuna is shipped in. Fabulous food. I love rice pudding, and if you like rice pudding, save room because it is delicious. Friends had the apple pie/tart and said it was one of the best they ever tried. All in all a great find!
This was our first time here. It is very nice, clean restaurant. The food was amazing!!! I had the Prime Rib ... the best I have ever had!! The garlic mashed potatoes were great also. The server was polite, professional and very good at his job. We did go early to make sure we did not hit the rush. It is a very good steak house.
Been here several times and it never disappoints. Had the prime rib and it was fantastic. My wife had the lobster mac and cheese and she couldn't finish it! Really big portions. Can't wait to go back!

We stumbled upon this spectacular steakhouse. The waitress was super nice and informative. The food was to die for! We will definitely return.
