Cavaretta's Italian Deli

60+ Year old Italian Deli, obviously they are doing something right. Where do I start. I 've been visiting this local spot for around 25 years now. I actually drive 45+ minutes from SCV to stock up on my favorite items. Awesome Deli Sandwiches, Check! Great Selection of Italian market items, Check! Fresh Breads, Check! Italian Wine Selection, Check!, and probably one of my favorite most ridiculously good in house made Lasagna 's, that they make from scratch daily. The sign in the deli says it best. This place is disgusting! They served me a small Buffalo chicken sandwich the works with extra mold on the bread. ??? wish I looked before biting into it! The bread is extra hard and moldy! Plus their ceiling fan has like 3 inches of dust on the plates! They also sold me a 3 year expired can of tomatoes. Do not go here!

Fantastic deli with excellent sandwiches. The service is great and there is a huge selection of drinks, chips, and groceries. It can be busy at times but it is well worth the wait. There is also a sizable parking lot in the alley behind the store.

Great quality Italian submarines and decent selection of Italian foods. For some reason every time we visit, I get the classic Italian sub. Maybe because it's delicious. Parking spaces on the back are limited and street parking is easy.

Best sandwiches in The Valley. Quality and fresh ingredients can be tasted from the first bite. Wait line can be long at times so I recommend ordering over the phone.
