Cedar Creek Inn Brea

Noisy outer area, three-legged table and hard chairs doesn't add up to a fine dining experience to begin with. Wasn't pleased at all with the Seafood Fettucine which was bland and rubbery with tails left on the shrimp- runny and more like a soupy mess than an Italian entree. The house salad was brownish and limp, the bread was soggy and the service was inattentive and rushed. Overall, I will stick to the steaks if I ever return. I've been coming with my family for 25 years and things have definitely taken a turn for the worse.

The main dishes were good. Calamari was very delicious. However coconut cake was a disappointing. It was dry maybe old? The venue was nicely decorated for the season, but the floor under our table was super dirty. There was crayons and food on the floor. Looked like some kids had a good time and left a mess behind. I wished someone would have cleaned the mess on floor before sitting a family of four adults celebrating a birthday. Yikes!

Reserved for lunch with friends for 4 and we were seated with table right on time. The service was very good even thought the restaurant was full due to many holiday part groups. When I don’t know where do go for lunch or dinner, this is always the choice for me.

We were at Cedar Creek for a pre-Christmas dinner. It was a very festive atmosphere with lots of celebrating groups. The food was delicious and our server, Austin, did an excellent job of taking care of several tables. We had a wonderful time.

At best, the food is mediocre and over priced and there’s absolutely no ambiance. It’s basically a Dennys with an expensive menu
