I recently moved into the neighborhood from West New York so my go to restaurant for Cuban sandwiches was just a bit too far from my house and I wanted something that was walking distance from where I currentlylive. I decided to try this restaurant out because I saw it had really good reviews and it was also a hotspot for Cubansandwiches, which was one of their featured items on their menu. My family and I have been ordering from here for years. It's one of our takeout go to's. I don't think I've ever ordered anything that was ever bad. Some of my favorites here are the masitas de puerco (fried pork chunks pretty sure this is a daily special), tamal en cazuela (cornmeal soup Wednesday soup), pollo a la plancha (chicken breast), and the batido de trigo (it's like a cereal shake, sounds weird but it is DELICIOUS), and their red beans!! What I love the most about this place compared to other restaurants in the area is that they don't over season their food with salt which gives you the option to actually make it to your liking. I usually get my fresh squeezed Orange ???? ???? ???? Juice and Homemade Chicken ???? ???? ???? ???? Soup there ???? ???? as far as the rest of the food menu and services it's average taste and depending on the time of day you go for example breakfast orlunch times it's very busy so service is below average, at times frustrating. They need more server's during peak times.
I absolutely love this place! The ladies who work here are very sweet. I often go for breakfast and soup, and since there's a foot doctor located next door, it's convenient too. It's a popular spot for lunch, and I just adore the family-friendly atmosphere. Both Jimmy and I enjoy stopping by for coffee as well!

Great little neighborhood diner! The coffee and espresso is amazing! The empanadas are ridiculously good, especially the guava and cheese! Sweet and delicious! Everything we ate was great, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. If I lived there Iwould be there every day!
I ordered the Carrot, Orange, and Celery Juice, and it was incredibly tasty! The freshness of the fruits and vegetables really shines through. The service was prompt, making it a perfect spot for a morning visit.
They are super slow workers who do not pay attention to anything. I was waiting on the counter for 20 minutes, the restaurant was nearly empty. And no one served me, not even a can i help u? So i left....
The food was as delicious as it smelled! I could kiss the chef. The rice, fish, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and palomilla were all perfectly seasoned! I will definitely be back! I highly recommend it!
