We just booked for dinner, opening time 8:30, having been in laguardia earlier. The food at villa Lucia is understated but excellent. We shared a half portion of croquettes and local pork sausage to start. The croquettes are up there with the best we have eaten and thats saying something from my dutch wife. We followed with two dishes from the grill the beef striploin and lamb chops, both were excellent. I ordered medium based on a typical Irish fillet cut, but this was twice as thick so slightly rare towards the middle but simply delicious. the lamb was crispy from the grill but tasty and tender. we finished with their tarta de manzana (really nice take on apple tart) and tarrito de goxua, both were dleightful. Our waiter recommended a reserva in our price range. Campillo from 400M down the road, It was excellent. The staff were patient with our stumbling spanish and saved the day with excellent english. 3 days later we are still talking about the meal. I can recommend a visit.
