"Unpolite waiters, caos, very very expensive considering it's a self service! Nobody was helpful, the place is very basic but you pay more than in a restaurant. The food was good but I'd never go back there."

Unlike most cerveceras, El Molino has made the effort to accommodate both vegans and celiacs by offering to adapt their menu items to eliminate animal products and gluten upon request. In my opinion, this is very progressive and deserves recognition. However, since the vegan options are basically fries and salad, this means that you leave the restaurant still feeling hungry. It would be great if they could have a veggie burger, or vegan tortilla de patata, or hummus, etc. The only reason why we ever go to cerveceras is because they are kid-firendly, unlike most Basque restaurants, but it would be nice if these types of restaurants could offer inclusive food in addition to an inclusive environment.

Had a lovely meal here with my family. Good selection of starters and main courses. The roast chicken was really juicy and comes in a bowl rather than plate with juice so that it doesn't come dry to the table. The mains were really good quality, although I'd have to say the fries were under cooked. Not quite coloured or crispy enough. However this didn't take anything away from the meal and experience.

Off the beaten track, in a converted old water mill, this local restaurant provides good local food at reasonable prices, without any pretentions. Very popular with the local community, you have to accept it for what it is and enjoy the atmosphere. There are no tourists here, which is a good sign. Great value for money. The half-chicken with the local fries to share will fill you up.

We got a bit of McDonald feeling when we parked our car. We ordered chicken as we were told it was really good, and it was. After queuing for a while, we ordered our meal at a desk outside the restaurant. Good place for children. You are allowed to bring dogs.
