At Chabelo's Mexican Grill, I was disappointed to find the beans and rice served cold. It seemed like the meat was cooked earlier in the week and simply reheated on the grill when ordered. This is not a place worth spending your money on. If you want a hot meal, go to the taco trucks instead. I don’t understand how difficult it is to cook steak fresh on the grill. My drivers are very picky because we have a limited budget, and when you spend $15 on a meal, it should be good or done right—otherwise, we skip eating out entirely. Unfortunately, Chabelo's menu did not meet those expectations.
The beans was cold the rice is cold They cook the meat up probably earlier in the week and when you order it they're throwing on a grill to heat it up I get place to eat at all don't waste your money. Go to the taco trucks you no you will get it hot Somebody tell me how hard is it to throw steak on the grill and cook it fresh. I'm saying my drivers are so picky it's becausewe're limited to money out here and when you spend $15 on a meal it's better be good or you We have to get it right or we don'teat that night .
I tried the Menudo and it was absolutely delicious. I usually only eat homemade Menudo because I’m hesitant to try it elsewhere, but I’m giving theirs 5 stars. I’ll definitely be coming back. However, my friend ordered the taquitos and said they were hard and a bit tough. Just a heads up!
First time visiting Chabelo's Mexican Grill and it was an incredible experience. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I tried the steak rancheros, and it was absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place.

The homemade salsa was an excellent way to start the meal. The Chili Verde was incredibly flavorful and tender—some of the best I've ever had. The Chili Relleno was cooked to perfection.
I definitely recommend Chabelo's Mexican Grill. The staff are amazing. Be sure to check out their menu if you visit Castic Lake!
A small little place but some of the best Mexican food we have had in a long time. Definitely worth stopping there.
