The Food Is OK Guys Not That Wow! I Hate Esting Soggy Food So I Never Eat The Tortas Hogadas Plus The Breads Super hard You Gotta Let The Sauce Soak In Good Before Eating It. When I Go I Usually Get The Pork Tacos Those Are Pretty Good And Filling. I Eat 4 And I'm Full And I Eat Alot. Now, Let Get Into The Drinks! Their Micheladas Are Bomb! I Hardly Like Micheladas I'm More Of A Beer Person But Here Their Super Good. The Dine In Atmosphere Is Ok You Can Eat Inside Or Outside Where They Have Umbrellas And Some Old Style Decorations. Dude Let's Talk Parking, The Parking Is Very Small, Everything I Go I Gotta Hunt For A Parking.

I only ever come to eat here when my parents force me and I don’t think there’s any other way to get me to eat here. The food is mid, you get tired of eating your meal after a few bites and basically have to force it down. The inside is disgusting, there were termites on the windows and it honeslty felt run dow. They have a celebrity wall plastered and you’d think that make it better but nope. It honeslty makes it worse. I advice to stay away from this place and to not eat here

Tried this place as our usual was closed and we had a craving for a torta ahogada. First of all service was great. Wife, son and I had the torta ahogada. My daughter had the tacos. NONE of us enjoyed our food. It might be good to some people but not us. Neither the meat nor the broth had any flavor. The bread was way to hard and chewy. I suggest you try El Guero on Whittier and Ford. I guarantee you wont be back to chago. We wont.

Best Tortas Ahogadas , Guadalajara style Mexico authentic we drove down from Sb to MONTEBELLO. 98 miles to get there. And were happily surprised. Also taco dorados great ...Also took some Tortas ahogadas home...will be going often.Can't beat the price either. Check it out!Parking: They have their own lot. Plenty of parking.

This place is soooooo delicious! I am Peruvian but my wife is a pure blood Mexican that grew up in Guadalajara and she rates this place a 9/10 compared to the tortas over there in Guadalajara. The chili is spicy but adds such great flavor, and the sauce is AMAZING! You will not regret trying this place out.

I like this place a lot!! the taste of the tortas are so alike to the tortas from Guadalajara , and the hard tacos are the best!! .. I definitely recommend this place to go with friends or family . Sometimes the wait it’s a little bit long but it’s definitely worth it.

This is our first time at this restaurant and we were satisfied with the tacos dorados de Papa and the torta ahogada de carnitas! Out server was Julia and she was so attentive and kept checking in on us. Great customer service and food Highly recommend this place!

I going to complain about the prices. The crispy potato taco with tongue is $4.50 ? eachSeriously?! one pound of carnitas is 10 dollars in almost everywhere.Also are very greasy ?I can make my own tacosI won’t order again.

The house specialty is the tortas ahogadas but that day I decided to eat potato tacos. They are very good, large and well prepared. the horchata water is amazing. I recommend the place.

Home-made flavor. Fresh at every bite. The meat the hot sauce are a big must to try. The owner takes his time when his there to greet customers.
