Chai House - Réservation de table

I decided to check out this restaurant based on the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. The sandwiches were outstanding! They were freshly made and topped with their special sauce—quite possibly enough to share between two people. Since I wasn't familiar with the food, we also tried the cabbage salad. It consisted of shredded cabbage dressed with vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper. I enjoyed it, but my companion wasn’t as impressed. Our server was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait at all. However, I found the prices to be on the high side, and they charge extra for additional sauce. Our total came to about $54 for three sandwiches, a salad, one order of fries, and an extra sauce.

The prices were higher than I anticipated, but I understand that everything is increasing these days. Still, it was worth it! This döner is truly a spiritual experience. The bread and spices they use are simply perfect. I even dropped it upside down like a clumsy duck, and it somehow survived almost completely intact. I can only attribute this to a higher power watching over this blessed sandwich, and I won’t think otherwise. Take a look!

I asked my co-worker to find a place for lunch before we headed to the airport, and he really hit the jackpot with this spot. The doner kebab was incredible—definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Every bite was just perfect. I also tried the wings, and they were fantastic. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Detroit just to enjoy this food again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The owner is unprofessional and does not uphold her promises. She mentioned that she would be training me this week, but then told me she was offering opportunities to four other people instead and subsequently blocked my number. I'm relieved that I won't be working at this establishment, as the food isn’t impressive either. Overall, I’d rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1. I ordered a beef and lamb doner for delivery, and it was truly delicious! It was packed with flavor; my only suggestion would be to add a bit more filling. The bread was soft and pleasant, but a little extra filling would make it perfect. I also had the mozzarella sticks with ranch, which were fantastic. I can't wait to explore more items on the menu! I will definitely be ordering again soon!

I really enjoyed the doner kebab and the chevapi. The falafel was good, although I can't recall much about it. The location in Hamtramck is quite small, but I definitely plan to return and will write a more detailed review next time.

This is a cozy little restaurant with fantastic food. It's quite difficult to find DONER KEBABS in an area that's mostly filled with Shawarmas. They truly serve authentic Turkish cuisine.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover such an amazing restaurant near my workplace! The food was fantastic, and I really enjoyed my meal!
