Last night I had dinner at the chand palace for the first time. it felt like I had dinner at a high time. the diversity was incredible. on Saturday evening it was $24 per person tax and satisfaction, but it was good value. recently I had paid almost the same amount in another Indian restaurant for only two dishes and koks. so it is only worth the price from the view of diversity. and almost everything tasted very well. the taste of everything reminded me of the restaurants in mumbai. the taste was authentic and not modified to fit native. V rude manager who disturbed us in the middle of the lunch buffet and made us leave as he couldnt handle traffic coming in. Food was not good as well. First time i have seen this in my life where people who are eating are asked to leave as it is more than 45 mins. He wanted to maximize the profit on the lousy buffett he serves by rotating people. Will not go there again. Not recommend anyone. If he had told us that he doesnt have space we would have gone somewhere else. Spoiled our mood on a sat when guests have come from out of town. If you feel like getting humiliated while eating please go to chand palace in Piscataway. I forgot to mention it is damn expensive.
had the worst experience of my life here. our group went to the party there. about 30-40 minutes after sitting and closing the appetizers during the buffet, they began to ask us to go in the middle as they encounter another group for eating. that was so annoying that we had to go with lunch in the middle. do not go there unless they are ready to leave on their command. what a tedious behavior and what a lot of greedy people these young have become.
pure vegetarianism is a plus for only vegetarians. when I visited last year 3-4 times, the food flavor was better than now, and they have increased the price, last year they were $24 including tax service fees for one person, and now they charge $26 including everything for one person. it was too crowded, and I noticed that many people went back because they had no place to sit for them. it's good, but I'd say something expansive per person.

very good vegetarian restaurant in nj. I am already here. they serve today all 7 days lunch buffet and buffet dinner. weekday buffet prices are reasonable and should be tried. they also serve dosa on the buffet. in general buffet menu consists of samosas, manchurian, dosa, dishes, daal fry, pulav, mixed vegetables, salad, lot sort dessert, mango leti etc. they also serve thali, which is also very beautiful?
Went for a weekend dinner buffet and was satisfied. The buffet had a decent assortment of curries, popular street food, and dessert. The price per head was around $26 and a separate service charge is added as well (around a few bucks). If you use cash, then you’re eligible for a 10% discount. I’ll be returning again!
It’s a decent place. All veg. I am a non veg. I get bored of the same food options each time I go to Chand palace. No variety. This time I went after a year and still same menu. service is not to talk about cause it’s mostly a buffet service. Owners are nice.
The restaurant doesn't provide good service for the price you pay. Every year, they increase their prices dramatically while the quality of both their service and food decreases. Additionally, the staff at the restaurant have a lot of pride.
