Chang-hai - Réserver une table

Nous avions envie de quelque chose de différent, alors nous avons choisi de manger ici. Un bon menu, les bières sont en bouteille plutôt qu'en pression. Le menu était à un prix correct mais nous avions d'autres idées et avons commandé à la carte. La qualité de la nourriture était très bonne et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Oui, le service était lent car nous n'avons vu qu'une seule dame en service, mais nous étions en vacances alors pourquoi se presser. La beignet aux pommes était plus chaude que le soleil d'après ma femme ! Mon plat de canard au gingembre et aux oignons était délicieux.

It's hard to be too critical of the lady who was running this restaurant single-handedly. Front of house, service, serving drinks and cooking. Hardly surprising then that everything was slow and food was delivered as she had finished preparing it and occasionally fulfilling drinks orders in between. The food was well priced and pleasant enough, neither outstanding nor poor. On the plus side we will remeber this experience for much longer than many other nicer, but less remarkable ones!

My wife and I ate at this restaurant twice last year and were were back again yesterday for another delicious lunch. The Nem are especially good. In talking with the owner we learned that they have been in business here for 34 years so I would say that they are highly experienced chefs. My wife will be back next month.

The food was decent and staff was friendly, but service was slow at times. Restaurant ambiance is typical of most restaurants in Bayeux.

Place is nice and the owners are pleasant. Clearly the food was freshly prepared and taste delicious but it takes long to be served
