This restaurant is a beloved part of the community. The food and beer are excellent, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and there is occasionally live music. There is also plenty of free parking available. However, there may not be many options for those with gluten or dairy allergies, but the staff does try to accommodate. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with dishes like house-made chicken nuggets and a relaxed atmosphere. It is easily accessible for those in wheelchairs, as there is a first floor entry with no steps. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Dover.
One of our go to’s and favorite places in New Hampshire. The beer is really great if that’s your thing (not mine , cocktails are great, great wine list, and mocktails! The food has always been good, though one of my favorites is the mussel dishes they’ve had! The staff is always friendly and makes for such a wonderful dinner out, or a late Sunday lunch, our favorite time to sit at the bar for a casual date out. Price per person: $20–30
As a vegetarian I’m always on the hunt for a great tofu sandwich, and the Korean Fried Tofu Sandi did not disappoint! Bonuses for great fries, a killer local tap list, and friendly service. Food is great. Quality ingredients, twists on traditional faves, straightforward and super fresh. Cocktails are craft, interesting and delish and I don’t drink beer but my friends love their beer- something for everyone.
