Chaplin's is absolutely amazing. I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. We easily found street parking. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately. The decor is great. We loved the theme and the old Charlie Chaplin silent movies playing on the projector. Our server was friendly and attentive. He provided great insight on the menu and suggested some delicious bites. All the food was perfection. We ordered the Limelight Guava Daiquiri for drinks, Chaplins buns and fried pork gyoza for appetizers, the Miso and Shoyu ramen our meals, and the chocolate lava cake for dessert. We've found a new favorite and will definitely make ourselves regulars.
Justine was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely be asking for her every time I visit. She is incredibly knowledgeable, from drinks to hair color suggestions, and even knows about the hottest events in the city! I really appreciate how she made sure I was comfortable while using crutches. This was my first time dining out since my injury, and I felt completely supported, both physically and emotionally. We will definitely be returning!
The food was incredible, making for a fantastic experience overall. The service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning!
It was a great meal, and I even circled back to take a dessert home. I definitely shouldn’t have ordered a second hot sake, though, I’m too old to drink.
