This restaurant is definitely worth the price. The grilled chicken sandwich is the best I've ever had. They smoke their own meats, and the minced beef was surprisingly delicious, even for someone who rarely eats beef. Their burger with honey smoked ham on top was a hit with my friends. We were impressed by the food and will definitely be returning. If they had a location in DC or NYC, they would likely have lines out the door.
I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a cheeseburger with fries. The pulled pork was drowned in BBQ sauce and was overpowering. The cheeseburger lacked flavor (it didn't even have salt and pepper) and the fries were limp. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 3 out of 10.
I would definitely go back to this restaurant. The service was good. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $50–$100. The food was rated 4 out of 5, the service was a 3, and the atmosphere was a 4. I recommend trying the Pit Beef Sandwich, Beef Platter, Sausage, and French Fries.
