Sunday brunch is always good here! surprisingly inexpensive **** marys and mimosas $5 per! Today, unfortunately, our first mimoses were not very cold. there was a jazz trio game that was just a bit loud for us because we were right next to them. we enjoyed them, but it is the reason for my noise level class (3/4). I don't think they could be quieter, and it was a good volume for the room. service is always top note at char – a very professional staff! we love this place.
The food was tasteful and decent portions. We had a group of 6, and the only compliant was that the prime rib contained a large amount of fat, but the manager rectified that really quick. The food and drinks came out extremely faster than expected. I appreciated that there was a birthday card on the table upon arrival. We 'll be back!
We love Char but it was unusually loud on a Tuesday night at 8. Eating outside in nice weather is our favorite, so maybe it was just surprising to make the winter adjustment . Our servers were very prompt and helpful. The gumbo and crab claws were very tasty as always.
I recently dined at Char during the 2020 pandemic. Since it was not very busy, we were seated right away without needing a reservation. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Réservez une table maintenant
food and service was excellent. sitting in the back room was not appreciated. the seats in a stand or in the bar are overflowing and the remaining seats are different.
This was my first time coming. I’ve seen it in passing and seen the one in Memphis. So I decided to try something different and chose Char. I will return!
Char is an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of bourbons and delicious steaks. I will definitely be returning.
