We attended the Robert Craig Wine Dinner on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024. It was held across the street from the Strathallan Hotel in the Century Club House. Great location, very comfortable. The food was incredible and the chef did a wonderful job with pairing it with the Robert Craig Wines. We look forward to attend more of these wine dinners here.
The food used to be outstanding here. For the price the dinner was average. I would pick a couple of other places before returning here. The corkage fee was a bit extreme at $60. Extremely over priced for the quality of food. Servers were great and very friendly.
Not an inexpensive place to eat, but steak was great, as was the calamari and truffle fries. It was a very enjoyable special treat! We ate early and not rushed away when we were finished.
Outstanding Performance! Our service was exceptional and the food was amazing! The steaks were perfect and we enjoyed appetizers and several different dishes!!! I highly recommend Char! Réservez une table maintenant
Impeccable service with great attention to detail. Extensive wine list but somewhat pricey. My wife and I both had steaks that were cooked perfectly and just as we ordered them.
Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. Sides were delicious and easily shareable. Mark was attentive as our server.
Great food, very friendly and attentive staff but priced way too high for a typical steak restaurant in a hotel.
