This was the first restaurant where I tried Indian food, and it was amazing! Make sure to order the cheese naan, you might even want to get a second order because it's that good! There are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, all of which are very delicious. The portions are not huge, but they are definitely satisfying. I have never been able to finish a dish completely, maybe because I always fill up on cheese naan before. The staff is friendly and happy to accommodate dietary requests. The lunch specials are a great value. The only downside is that sometimes the restaurant appears closed when it should be open according to the website. It's best to call ahead and check. The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. They really know how to cook basmati rice. The portion sizes are not large, but they are fair for the prices. I would definitely eat here again. Despite being turned away by the Henley Beach Hotel for being only 3 minutes late after traveling 800 kilometers, Charminar showed us the true hospitality of "Radelaide".

We love our neighborhood Indian restaurant. Whether we dine in or get takeout, we are always satisfied. The food is consistently high quality and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our favorite dishes are the chicken madras, lamb shanks, and cottage cheese dumplings. Réservez une table maintenant

Delightful. Went here Friday night and had butter chicken and chicken korma, both delicious and the staff were so friendly and polite,meals were out quickly too! Would highly recommend!

I have been to Charminar 3 or 4 times now and every time it has been fantastic, great service and really tasty Indian food. Highly recommend the beef vindaloo (hot).
