"Great Sri Lankan restaurant in Hallam. Had a buffet function for mums birthday. Huge selection of curries and a few non spicy dishes like lasagne. Definitely great food. The beef curry was awesome!"

We have been there so many time as a big group and also as a couple and each time we great a fantastic best tasty food , entertainment, and service what more can we ask for. In fact there is about 20 of us once again going tomorrow for a crab lunch organised by my brother Derrick Gray so looking forward. . We know we will once again will enjoy the food, entertainment but most of al the service. Most of the crowd as Been there along with us many times before and we will keep on going there. Keep up the fantastic cooking, entertainment and your kind services. We all score you 200
As usual Cha's Cabin did not disappoint! Attended a birthday party for forty guests for Sunday Lunch and as usual the great spread of food was excellent, tasty and overflowing, total value for money! Hosts are super accommodating, easy and friendly to deal with and super efficient with years of experience behind them, so nothing was wanting! Cosy and intimate ambience, great food, and a regular two person live entertainment (the owners themselves! what more do you need for a lovely Srilankan sing-song party! Highly recommended!
Amazeballs. Second time visiting this place and again it blew my socks off and sent my taste buds to participate in a party in my mouth! The food is amazing and all you can eat buffet?! What could go wrong? Food coma's were plentiful around the table, the people are friendly and welcoming! South East Melbs little secret! Price is great too! The place is a little outdated but I wouldn't even fault that! Get amongst it! .... My partner now tells me they have late night kareoke but it's past my bedtime so I'm on the way home now!
I use to support and dine at this restaurant when they first opened over 20years ago and OMG the food service and atmosphere was amazing 10/10 It's been many years since I've visited due to moving to the Mornington peninsula. I just checked up if this business is still operating and it is So I'm definitely going to make plans to travel and dine there again, maybe take some friends so they can experience the wonderful dining as I once did. Superb taste sri lankan style fried rice and rice and curries. and so friendly reliable service. Foods really worth with the money. Really appreciated the service. today I placed the order via uber. for meat choices from chicken, beef,pork i just selected only chicken as we are not having beef and pork. They contacted me and checked if is it alright if they add seafood... so speacially their customer service is so adorable. Finally THE TASTE IS EXCELLENT!
Cha’s Cabin is an ideal place for get togethers. Authentic delicious food, Karioke , live music,sharing,caring,fun, laughter bit of dancing as well. We had a great night. There Buffett was so affordable. There was a huge variety of main foods as well as desserts.Love it. There customer service was outstanding. Above all I love adore the live music with dancing.
Ordered lump rice on my sons birthday 1st July. The food was awesome and really delicious. Cannot explain in words. Keep up the good work. We would definitely order from here again and highly recommend for anyone to try the lump rice. Many thanks. Réservez une table maintenant
