The Chasellas offers very good food. I am not eating meat but my friends tell me frequently to try the Wiener schnitzel because it is so good. My own experience with non-meat dishes was so far very good. I especially like to sit on the...terrace which offers great view down the valley. The interesting part is that you even can sit outside in the winter if the sun is shining. I remember a lunch here, sitting in the sun at 10 degrees Celsius below freezing point without freezing. I mean, the meal was cold pretty fast, but it was wonderful to sit there. Anyway of course it it much nicer if the weather is warm. But you can also sit inside (not very much room, so a reservation might make sense). The prices are very reasonable for St. Moritz. Parking is free and just in front of the building.
The inside of the restaurant looks like how you would imagine a Swiss Chalet. Very quaint and lovely. The menu is limited but the food was very good with a nice selection of wines. The dress code was casual which from what we could see...meant nice shirt and pants, no sport clothes and no sport coats. Do be prepared the prices here are higher than we found in upscale restaurants in Zurich.
our group dinner began here with an salate and a clear suppe that could not have been delicious anymore. the chef was remarkably flexible with our group and all were very happy. we could not have chosen a better place and I personally enjoyed every dish of the chef menu.
