The Table d’Igé is the restaurant of the Chateau d’Igé, a beautiful 13th century castle with hotel. We had booked dinner on New Year’s day and were blown away. The restaurant setting is fantastic; a room with a large open fire, thick stone walls, a...high ceiling with foot-wide wooden beams and furniture to match. The welcome was professional, yet warm and the menu excellent, as were the wine recommendations. we found this place on the app 'via michelin' (we treat this like our personal restaurant guide in these days! when we visited ice to find a weingut. it was a sunny lunch time so we could sit on the terrace that was... really nice. we had the lunch package and it was very good. great eating, well cooked and presented. good service and beautiful place to stop for a cozy lunch!
