One of the best restaurants in NYC! It truly captures the mouth-watering, authentic Punjabi flavors reminiscent of Ludhiana. The atmosphere feels like home, and the staff, along with the owner, are exceptionally courteous. Punjabis are famous for their hospitality, and this place exemplifies that! If you want to experience it for yourself, head over to Chawla's 2 in Queens, NYC. The only downside is that the online and takeout menu seems a bit outdated; the management should consider updating it to prevent any confusion about prices. Thank you, Chawla's 2!

This is my second time ordering from them via DoorDash, and I've had a fantastic experience both times. I got the butter chicken with garlic naan and a mango lassi, and everything was delicious. The butter chicken is incredibly tasty and wonderfully creamy! The garlic naan is fresh and pairs perfectly with the butter chicken. The mango lassi is a delightful refreshment, blending the flavors of yogurt and mango beautifully. I truly love Indian cuisine, and this meal brought me so much joy!

The food was not prepared properly. They served us tartar sauce with the malai tikka, which was unexpected. The mint chutney lacked flavor and salt, and the cream chicken tasted more like black pepper chicken. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at Chawla2, which has been around since 1960. I ordered two Goat Karradi and spent $30 ($15 each), but the dishes were mostly bones with only two small pieces of meat. I expected to eat meat, not chew on bones. I would not recommend this place to my family or friends; I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience.
