Cheesetique - Réservation de table

I've always wanted to eat at Cheesetique and I've finally got to go. I don't know that it was all that I've ever expected or desired, but I did enjoy myself. I can recommend the fried cheese curds. They are delicious. The wine flight that I had was okay, and surely there are greater selections to choose from considering how much wine is there. My dinner was great and the server was attentive. I hardly ever write reviews, but I'm making an exception here. Let me preface by saying, as a cheese lover I was very excited to try this restaurant. We drove from over an hour away just to come to this restaurant. I made a reservation online for 8:45pm (earliest we could get there) and yes, I realized they closed at 9pm but I figured maybe they just seat until 9 since there was a 8:45 timeslot available for reservations. The panzanella salad was a disappointment. First, there was way to much cubed bread and to little tomato. I think the proportion should have been reversed. What I got should not be called a salad. A very poor value for $15. I added steak for $6. Didn?t help because it was thin and overcooked. Shrimp would?ve been a better choice. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich very much. She has also eaten there before and loved, thus the 4 stars. And we both liked the onion soup as we

Cute little place to get a cheese and charcuterie board, some wine, and any of several cheese-centric food options for lunch. The cheese wheel display in the glass case when you walk in made me feel like I was at a specialty cheese store, and I loved looking at the wall behind the bar and reading about which wines paired with which cheeses. The board we ordered for lunch was awesome; I even liked it more than my lunch entrée, which says a lot! Definitely going to have to Réservez une table maintenant

First time here. I ate way too much!!! I got the sassy goat sandwich. It was great!! I went wrong with getting the warm olives appetizer... not because it wasn 't good but because I ate TOO much! Everything was wonderful!! The service was excellent. The drinks were great too. This was a treat in DC area for a great dinner. Come early and browse the amazing cheeses and wines they have in the front of the shop.

FABULOUS. Totally regretting missing this gem. Amazing selection of cheeses and related goodies. Varied wine stock and affordable. Food, yum yum, service delectable. They will definitely be seeing us again very very soon. Thanks.

This is one of my favorite spots in Shirlington. The staff is always friendly and the wine flights are always tasty. Last time we went we got the sassy goat grilled cheese, mac and cheese. And tomato soup.
