This is my third time. It’s pretty consistent on the food quality. I had a great time. Service was a little subpar on this visit but consider the following. It was a Sunday and it was incredibly slow. It didn’t seem like they had much of a staff at all and the place was pretty much empty. Only 3 to 4 tables occupied at the time we were there. One person (may have been the manager. Nice older gentleman and one wait staff basically working a whole room. Not that big of a deal since there weren’t that many guests, but a couple of mistakes were made. They brought one of my guest the wrong dish. They corrected it pretty quickly. The food and service were excellent. Generous portions, terrific flavor. They seemed attentive to food allergies in our group, which we appreciated. There were two annoying things about the ambiance: 1. There was a fly, and it landed in my mashed potatoes at one point. 2. The music didn't seem to fit the overall ambiance and food vibe. We were ready to escape after listening to that for an hour. Because the food was so good, neither of these things would dissuade me from a return visit.
The calamari with capers, red pepper and worcestershire sauce was a great start to a wonderful meal! The stuffed pork chop special and halibut were both cooked to perfection. Loved sitting outside felt like we were in Europe. Our serve, Louis, was knowledgeable, attentive and lots of fun! Fantastic evening!
We hosted a family celebration after our grandson's baptism at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Even though it was a set menu, there were plenty of delicious options to choose from.
